Branding and Distribution Support are services to be developed long-term to further support regional small business development.
Value-Added Production
Utilizing harvest “seconds”, Working Title Farm will produce a line of small-batch jams, preserves, pickles and sauces from signature recipes. Offered for sale at Farmers Markets and via the on-site Farm Stand, this line provides income from what would otherwise become waste. This line of branded food goods, available year-round, provides “taste of place” to farm stays and builds income through direct sales and brand-building.
Offering value-added production support to surrounding farms provides the opportunity for additional employment and income to both Working Title Farm and their regional partner farms.
Culinary Workshops
In addition to offering the Kitchen for third party workshop rentals, Working Title Farm will offer in-house workshops focused on eating in season. Developing partnerships with local culinary professionals to build a regular calendar of events generates mutual income, builds the brand and generates a unique menu of Farm Stay add-ons.
Providing these further enrichment activities to Farm Stay guests at a discount also increases the length of stay, long-term regional engagement, and sense of satisfaction and value. The option to add breakfast pastries or evening snack trays to each Farm Stay will also increase per-stay income.
